Tiger Woods might lose the world's No. 1 position

Tiger Woods has been on the golf NO.1 position for 247 weeks. If he will not play games, it is possible lose the world's top position during the U.S. Open and British Open.

Tiger Woods current world average score is 12.37 points, ahead of the second place Steve Stricker (7.83 points) 4.5 points, ahead of the third place Phi Mickelson (7.42) almost 5 points.  According to the current trend in the world rankings, if Woods will not play games, he will lose 0.25 point per week, it is possible lose the world's No. 1 position during the U.S. Open and British Open.

"If he do not play, his average score will drop to around 8.00 points." Ian Barker said. "He can not lose the NO.1 place in the next few week, but as the US Master apporaching, he will be in a weak position, particularly the golfer score rise up to 9 or 10 points."

So far, the higher score of this season are Steve Stricker, Lee - Westwood, Ian Poulter and Martin - Kemer. Steve Stricker of which ranked first, got 85.75 points.
